He stated that the public's interest in pink-ball Tests needs to increase before more matches are scheduled. However, the Indian men's team has had success in the four pink-ball Tests they have played. So far, the Indian men's team has played four pink-ball Tests, winning three and losing one. The women's team also had a pink-ball Test against Australia, which ended in a draw.
