HYDERABAD: Ghazal Srinivas, a prominent Ghazal artist, has been sentenced to life imprisonment for teenage girl. A case has been registered against him by the Punjagutta Police in Hyderabad. On Tuesday, the police brought him to Nampally court. The court sentenced Judicial remand to him till 12th of this month. Gajal Srinivas's lawyer has filed a bail petition. But the bail did not come. It was moved to jail.
Gajal Srinivas was arrested by the police on charges of sexually assaulting. A woman complained that she had harassed her on December 29, along with evidence in the Punjagutta Police station. The police registered a case against him. The victim is working as a radio jockey. Gajal Srinivas is being harassed for a while by a resident of Venkataramana colony and recently the victim is approached by the police. The allegations against Ghazal Srinivas are true. They said that they had registered a case under the complaint of the women. Ghazal Srinivas has been accused of sexually assaulting and lodging her in the room. He had registered a case under 354, 354A, 509 cases.
